How did I get the name Busy B? Throughout my time as a retail worker, many customers and co-workers would comment on my fervent attitude as something of a Busy Bee. As I transitioned to owning my own business, the name stuck: Busy B’s! I’m still buzzing and rushing around getting work done!
I have over 15 years of experience in the customer service industry, mainly specializing in the floral retail department. I love being as helpful as possible for my customers and couples, and I know communication is key! I also acquired a degree from Kishwaukee College that focused on floral design. I have a strong background in wedding design and love to continue to educate myself in my field.
I designed and set-up my first wedding at Starved Rock Lodge (Oglesby, IL) for my boyfriend’s sister’s wedding. She put her complete trust in me, and something about that just felt so rewarding. It brings me joy that I get to create and be a part of such a special day in so many people’s lives. Knowing that some odd years down the road, they would look back at their wedding photos, see those fantastic shots the wedding photographer took of their flowers and think of how helpful I was and how beautiful all their florals were. This is my goal for all my couples.
